Mt. Makalu Expedition (8463m)

Makalu is one of the eight-thousand, and is considered one of the most difficult mountains in the world to climb. Every interested people in mountaineering are well-known that Mt. Makalu (8463m) is the fifth highest mountain Peak on the Earth. Mt. Makalu is Situated in the heart of eastern Himalayas albeit just about 14 miles east of Mt. Everest. The mountain is notorious for its steep pitches and knife-edged ridges that are completely open to the elements. The final ascent of the summit pyramid involves technical rock climbing. Makalu is the only Nepalese 8,000m peak which has yet to be climbed in true winter conditions.

Day 11 Yak Kharka to Makalu base camp – camp
Day 12 – 36 Climbing mt. Makalu 8463m.
Day 37 From Makalu BC – Yangle Khark – camp
Day 38 From Yangle Khark-Tashidongma – camp
Day 39 Tashidongma – Khongma Danda – camp
Day 40 From Khongma Danda to Num and camp
Day 41 Drive num to Tumlingtar and guest house
Day 42 Fly  to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 43 Transfer hotel to airport – final departure
